In an attempt to promote the then French artistic center of Paris in Germany as well, the Paris Rudolf Gotreh Verlag starts to edit a German version of the French literary magazine ‘Les chroniques du jour’, that already starts its 8th year. The German edition will last only for 2 numbers. This is the first number Ref.1
The list of collaborators consist of the then international avant-garde, is ambitious and from various art diciplines, including the authors Paul Morand, F. Leger, Guillaume Apollinaire, Charlie Chaplin, Knut Hamsun, Blaise Cendrars, Rainer Maria Rilke, G. Hugnet, F.T. Marinetti, Max Jakob, Jean Cocteau, Tristan Tzara, James Joyce. The ambitious level is once again emphasized with images of works by Matisse, Max Ernst, Picasso, Moglidiani, a.o..
